What we offer:

Peer-to-peer tutoring:

Whether you are a tattooer starting out, lacking direction or the support network that you need to become a better artist, or an established tattooer wanting to reinforce your skills, we are both happy to mentor you in your specific areas of interest. For newer tattooers, think of it as a supplement to your apprenticeship. For established tattooers, it’s like a refresher course to build new skills and get you excited about what you do again.

These subjects can include:

• tattoo-specific technique

• technical tattooing theory and physics

• portfolio and art critiques

• drawing assignments and critique based on your area of interest

• Career advice and pursuing niche subjects

Seminar building:

Do you have a specific technique, approach to your work or insight that you think would be marketable to other tattooers and peers? Have you ever wanted to build your own seminar based on your area of expertise? It’s a scary thing to stand up in front of people and talk about any subject, but if you’re passionate, committed and knowledgeable, there is no reason that you shouldn’t be able to gain the confidence to share what you do with your community with a solid plan, script, visual presentation and a good narrative.

We have each been building and successfully teaching seminars for 15 years on subjects from everything from the abstract, to colour theory, flow, form and fit, edges and contrast, entrepreneurship and style, holistic business building and have even done some motivational speaking. This experience has enabled us to understand exactly what makes an interesting topic into a great seminar and the skills that it needs to present it.

• Build confidence in front of your peers to share what you know

• Develop a clear and concise narrative for presenting the story behind your expertise

• Build a stimulating and educational slideshow, effectively use infographics and engage an audience with visual material

• Learn about getting your seminar online, recording and sound, using and using zoom to teach a broad audience

• Learn to teach in front of a live audience or from the comfort of your own home

My real first love is entrepreneurship and how empowering it is to support yourself with your own business. I love helping artists branch out into other industries, help make contact and provide resources to see other small businesses flourish. I truly believe in sharing knowledge, and do not gatekeep in any way.
