The awkward question is as old as the subject matter of abstract art itself. “What is it?”

Complicated, conceptual ideas can be hard for your customers to engage with and thus not very popular in our community. When I talk about bio-flow, what I mean is the construction of what is widely called “biomech”, breaking down the anatomy, flow lines, negative space and contrast that makes up this unique style. All of these elements of composition apply to a wide range of genres in tattooing, and are universal truths that are useful to any large-scale tattoo you work are doing, not only “biomech”.

Using easy to apply metaphors to explain each of these structural elements, taking this seminar will arm you with a clear understanding of how to build readable, powerful abstract work, helping you to approach it with the confidence necessary to master it and learn about the beauty and poetry of natural laws.

Using the same tried and true approach as in Priorities, I teach in a simplified and applicable way to help you focus on the most important building blocks of this complex style. By simplifying and strengthening your approach to abstract tattooing, this seminar will help you to stimulate interest for this genre of tattooing in your own clientele!

It is not necessary to take my seminar “Priorities”, but it does ideally compliment “Bio-flow: What is it”, and gives you an introduction to my teaching style. Although they build on each other, the order in which these seminars are taken is not important.
