Printed on acid free art stock, this art nouveau design plate is part of my book project “Design Lore”.
Exploring the subtle, small things in nature is one of my driving forces in art. The similarities is all flow, whether it be driftwood, water or the climbing of a vine, all things flow the same but simply on a different sometimes unobservable time scale. By seeing things like the growth of wood frozen in time, we are able to observe this math, this formula of how the universe moves.
